Izea Ranks

Tuesday, March 25, 2008

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Izea Ranks. I am still a relatively new blogger, I began this blog in December. Well, when I started it, my good friend Rene was helping me out to figure out all the different things to get my blog going, submit it to search engines and all that.

Well, the only site ranking system I really knew of was, well, thatwhichshallnotbenamed ranking system LOL. But I quickly became aware that anything I tried to do to make a little money with my blog would quickly erase any ranking through that method, thus making many ways of making money with my blog not possible, because well, for lack of a better description, my blog was not good enough.

Now of course I still am completely baffled how just because I choose to make a little spending money for my family  that makes my blog not good enough. If people read my blog and I spend time keeping my blog looking nice and make an attempt at least to have some decent content in it, is that not what my blog should be rated on?

Then my wonderful friend Rene told me that there was now Izea Ranks and that this is how they rate your blog I was ecstatic! I immediately signed up my blog and put the little widget on my site so I can see how I'm doing.

When I first added it I think I was in the 600's, recently I have been as low as I think the mid 300's in ranking. I love to be able to see how my hard work on my blog is paying off, right now my blog is ranked at 375, I'm very proud of that ranking and hope to keep improving it. And best of all, this is helping give me more opportunity to make a little money here and there with my blog

I highly recommend that if you haven't already you sign your blog up, use this blog rank tool and follow how your hard blogging work is paying off!

Ooo, I'll have to check out izea.

I would have been annoyed too if I was there and the guys hadn't quieted their friend. I have a feeling that when Lily gets older I'm definitely going to be saying something to people. It's just rude and I don't understand why people think it's okay.

Thanks for the tips! I love it when bloggers share the know how.

I signed up with Izea some time ago but didn't get into it. Maybe now is a good time to give Izea a go.
